Bronington Community Group is run voluntarily by a small group of local residents. Thanks to funding from Bronington Community Council and Northern Marches Cymru, we were able to purchase the means to produce a local newsletter to keep the community up-to-date on local news and events.
The first issue of the Bronington Bugle was produced in October 2010 and, thanks to our dedicated band of volunteer distributors, delivered to almost 500 households in the Bronington Community Council area. We cover a large area, as you might imagine, from Whitewell, through Redbrook Maelor to Fenns Bank and along the Ellesmere Road, to Tybroughton, Little Green and Bronington village.
From the start, the Bronington Bugle has been entirely self-funded thanks to the generous support of our advertisers. We do urge you to mention us to them when using their services. As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus is always re-invested for the good of the community. Thus far, Bronington Community Group have been able to provide sponsorship towards last summer's Three Parishes Jubilee Party, a local swimming club and make small donations to Bronington VAP School.
We welcome all contributions towards the Bronington Bugle, and are grateful to those who take the time to write articles for each issue. We publish at the beginning of the following months: March, June, September and December.
